Safety

Safety is of the utmost importance at an outdoor restaurant.

The floor must be slip-reducing and provide sufficient grip even when wet. It should also be strong enough to bear the expected loads. Our floors with a permeable pattern are draining and ventilated (no puddles!) and can withstand heavy loads.

Floor tiles for outdoor dining, cafes and restaurants

Bergo Floors can be installed directly on wooden decking, concrete, asphalt, and in some cases, even on smoothed out cobblestones. The Bergo floor allows the substrate to breathe, thanks to the built-in air gap in the flooring.

Our perforated floors have an even more draining surface, preventing water puddles. The floor can be installed either permanently or easily disassembled and stored after the summer season, to be reinstalled the following season.

Installation

It is very easy to install a Bergo floor!

You don't need glue or special tools.
All that is needed is a rubber hammer and possibly a yardstick and saw.

Things to consider before installing the floor. Let the floor tiles stay for a few hours in the environment in which the floor is to be installed in order for the floor tiles to adapt the same temperature. For good performance, always install your Bergo floor on a clean, hard and levelled surface. Leave a certain distance to any fixed objects so that the floor can expand and extract.
